Egg Hunt

I need to back up a few weeks and get caught up on Easter.

My friend Shea and I were in charge of organizing our church's Easter Egg Hunt this year. It was a chilly day which I think kept some people home, but the kids didn't mind the smaller group...they all got tons of eggs.

We all enjoyed doughnuts and milk (Thanks to Ken's mom who got the little cartons of milk donated to us).

Let the hunt begin!

I told you they all got tons of eggs. Everyone was running out of room in their baskets. Sam was smart and started putting his in his hood.

A sweet lady from our church offered to come and paint faces. The kids all loved it and she did a great job.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, we also decided to go see the Easter bunny.

Olivia wasn't so sure about it at first, but finally decided she wanted to see the Easter bunny too!

When Did This Happen?

When did my little baby decide to grow up and become a big girl?

On Tuesday Olivia decided that she wanted to poop in the potty and that's exactly what she did! Since then she has consistently been using the potty. She has even used the potty at Target and at school. We really haven't tried to do this, in fact I had said I was going to wait until the summer to try, but Olivia thinks she is ready now.

I think this might be her favorite part...

And yes she is wearing panties!

Oh, and in case you hear Olivia say that she pooped on Abby, this is what she means (it's her little potty seat).

Landon & Emerson's Spring Pictures

A few weeks ago I was able to take some pictures of my friends kiddos. Here are a few of my favorites.

I was looking at the pictures that I took of them last year at the Botanic Gardens and I can't believe how big they have gotten. I guess you don't notice as much when you see somebody almost everyday, until you look at a picture.

Disney Part 3

Are you ready for the final installment of the Heflin family vacation?

Day 4-Back to The Happiest Place On Earth

Ella had a few characters that she still wanted to meet so on our fourth day we went back to Magic Kingdom, again. Did I mention she really loved everything there?

We waited in a 3 hour line to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Ella was so excited! They were very nice and spent a long time talking to her so it made the long wait worth it.

After getting those autographs and riding Peter Pan one last time we hopped over to Epcot. Ella and Olivia both loved Turtle Talk With Crush. Ella also road Soarin, but was terrified.

Ella liked trading pins with all the Disney staff, unfortunately she hung her necklace on the back of the bathroom door and we didn't notice until later in the evening after we had left :(

Day 5-Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is my favorite of all the Disney Parks. I am not sure why, I just love it!

So that's it. We had a great time and great weather the whole week. Now I am ready for another vacation. Maybe the beach!
